Amazon is used by many companies to sell their goods. Amazon, which is currently known as one of the best internet selling sites, connects with its consumers through excellent customer support. According to Forbes, Amazon Marketplace is home to more than 300,000 small and medium-sized companies in the United States. Amazon Marketplace is a third-party marketplace where businesses can list and sell their merchandise on Amazon.

For several small to medium-sized companies, the Amazon website is a gateway to a broader client base. The benefits of the Amazon marketplace are many, including quick seller registration, a larger presence, and unrivaled visibility. There are challenges once again where the consumers are ultimately Amazon customers rather than ours.

Because of Amazon's global scope, we can't afford to ignore the fact that we need to register with Amazon even though we have our own eCommerce website.

The Odoo  Amazon Connector is compatible with the following features:

- Syncing Amazon orders with the Odoo ERP.

- Notifying Amazon of verified orders so that payment can be initiated.

- Several profiles for sellers.

- Each seller account will have several marketplaces.

Fulfillment by Amazon and Fulfillment by Merchant are also options for Amazon vendor accounts. 

Amazon is in charge of fulfillment.

We allow Amazon to pick up the items, bundle them, and distribute them to customers using fulfillment by Amazon. The retailer is in charge of fulfilling the order, and Amazon is in charge of the remainder.

This is a good option for companies who don't want to worry about storage, packing, or other logistical issues. The time saved will be used toward promotions and other sales-related activities. 

Merchant fulfillment

The retailer is kept responsible for supplying the orders to the customer in this process. The retailer is responsible for all aspects of the order, including product packaging and gift wrapping. This approach gives the retailer complete leverage of the goods offered on Amazon. It allows for the creation of a stronger brand name since the approach gives complete control over inventory and shipping. 

When opposed to FBA, handling FBM orders is a more complicated operation, and the benefits to companies vary. 

The connector for FBA will take care of delivered and canceled shipments, delivery costs, and stock moves per request. The connector also manages the unshipped order details, shipping, gift choices, and delivery confirmation details in FBM.

Currently, the Odoo Amazon Connector in Odoo serves nine marketplaces. If you're selling on an unsupported website, you may be able to mark it as unsupported. More information is included in the Odoo documentation.

The Odoo module is available for download in the app store under the heading of sales software. The connector can be activated in the Sales module's setup > settings.

The connection to Amazon accounts would take you to a window of accounts that have been set up in the Odoo folder. 

Accounts on Amazon

We can build Amazon seller accounts and use them to list and sell our goods. We may use the connector to build several seller accounts in the Odoo database. Along with the marketplace of the seller account, account information such as name, seller id, and authorization token should be entered. 

In the case of a multi-company operation, we may even appoint a company to manage order follow-up. The authorization token can be purchased from Amazon Seller Center. Using the approve new developer button from software & utilities > control your applications in Seller Central. After we upload the form, Odoo will have access to your Amazon Seller Central details. 

Orders that are synchronized

The order information will be immediately fetched into the Odoo database after the accounts are registered with Odoo. The Amazon orders are created dynamically in the Odoo database and are updated here when they are canceled. The Odoo database is maintained up to date and coordinated by syncing orders on a daily basis.

Orders that have changed status after the last synchronization are retrieved from the Odoo log. The Amazon account is used to recover delivered and canceled orders for FBA. Unshipped and canceled orders would be synced by the connector for FBM. 

For any order placed on Amazon, the Odoo Amazon Connector generates a purchase order.
Up to three sales orders could be produced, depending on whether it's FBA or FBM.
Sales orders are made for merchandise, shipping costs, and gift packaging, if appropriate, in FBM.

When synchronizing, the sold commodity and consumer are aligned with the Odoo database. For FMA, the creation of a selling order will result in the creation of a distribution. We will verify the delivery by opening the delivery tab.

Amazon Connector is a module that assists all processes in handling Amazon sales orders and works well with all other modules. It is optimized to suit the demands of both FBA and FBM sales.
