Companies used Excel spreadsheets before CRM became widely used. Name, email address, phone number, purchase details, and address were all included in the spreadsheets. However, CRM allows for the storage of more and more information about customers, as well as their history with the company. CRM allows you to do follow ups, schedule activities, and track customer responses in addition to preserving all of these facts. The sales and marketing teams benefit the most from CRM because they are in closer contact with the customers. CRM tracks buying habits and provides insight into sales opportunities.
The CRM can be used to build strategies and plans. Effective CRM software may measure the sales progress and performance of the salesperson in addition to maintaining client connections.

The data stored in CRM can be leveraged for deeper relationship building with customers through tailored communication. Having a good understanding of the client's behavior will aid the organization in anticipating and developing plans and projects.

Lead Management in Odoo CRM

Odoo CRM is Odoo 15's most advanced tool for managing complex client interactions and generating leads. Odoo CRM allows you to keep track of your customer and client pipeline. In the Odoo CRM dashboard, you can see the lead details. You may customize and create new stages in the pipeline by categorizing all of the leads into different categories or stages. The stages that salespeople go through to convert a potential lead into a customer are represented by the pipeline. You can use pipeline to identify areas where marketing and sales could be enhanced. Additionally, each lead's progress may be monitored independently from the pipeline. To make a pipeline successful, you must move the lead from one step to the next. Odoo CRM will assist you in achieving this goal. It is critical to keep the pipeline up to date at all times. This will make it easier for team members to follow up on leads on a regular basis.

You may use Filters in Odoo CRM to display certain leads, such as My Pipeline, Unassigned, My Assigned Partners, Open Opportunities, Unread Messages, Creation Date, Closed Date, Won, Lost, and Archived. You can also make a Custom Filter based on your requirements.

You may examine lead details such as the Opportunity Name, Expected Revenue, Name of the Customer, Tags related, Priority in terms of stars, Salesperson, and a clock symbol indicating activities scheduled on the lead from the CRM dashboard. The entire estimated revenue from each pipeline stage will be listed next to the stage's name. The amount of activities planned, late leads, and other items are displayed in the status bar beneath each stage's name. Each category is identified by a different color, allowing for easy lead analysis.

Salesperson, Sales Team, Stage, Assigned Partner, City, Country, Lost Reason, Company, Campaign, Medium, Source, Creation Date, Expected Closing, and Closed Date can all be used to sort the leads. You can add Custom Groups in the same way that you can create Filters.

Simply click on the leads to see more information about them. Name of the Opportunity, Expected Revenue, Probability Rate, Name of the Customer, Email, Phone Number, Name of the Salesperson, Sales Team, Estimate of the date on which the opportunity will be won, Priority, Tags connected, and Name of the Company are all facts that should be included. Under the Internal Notes option, important notes regarding the lead will be displayed. Contact Information, Company Name, complete Address, Website, Language, Contact Name, Title, Job Position, and Mobile Number are all included in the Extra Information option.
The name of the campaign, the medium used for marketing, and the source are all examples of marketing specifics. Under the Assigned Partner option, you can see the assigned partner's geolocation and name. The Meeting option can be used to examine the lead's planned meetings or to initiate a new meeting with them. Click on the Quotations options to learn about the sales orders placed by the lead and the quotations sent. Another important aspect of Odoo CRM is that it allows you to search for similar leads to the one you've chosen. You will be guided to chances that are comparable to the selected lead if you select the Similar Leads option.
Click the NEW QUOTATION button to generate a new quotation, and the NEW RENTAL button to create a new product rental. You can classify a lead as WON or LOST based on the activities performed and the sales orders analyzed. The Enhance button can be used to enrich the opportunity with company info depending on the email address. Through the Action option, the lead can be Archived, Duplicated, Deleted, Send an Email, Send an SMS Text Message, Forwarded to a Partner, Added to Call Queue, or Enriched. By clicking the EDIT button, you can always change the details. The stage of the lead in the pipeline can be determined by using the stage indicator at the right corner of the page.
The plus symbol (+) situated near the stages can be used to swiftly add fresh leads to the database. Under the stage, a form will emerge with information such as the name of the organization or contact, the name assigned to the opportunity, the email address, the phone number, the expected revenue, and the lead's priority in terms of stars. After filling out the form, click the ADD button to save the lead.
Kanban, List, Calendar, Graph, Cohort, Maps, and Activity are all options for viewing the dashboard. Your company's leads can be converted into potential clients using Odoo CRM. The Sales and Marketing team will have a comprehensive picture of the leads and will be able to devise strategies to nurture the clients, assuring the company's profitability and growth.
