Employee requirements surveys are typical decision-based surveys for employees that might be based on the need for particular facilities in the firm such as a coffee machine or a decision on a salary raise or any of the company's inhouse requirements or decisions. 

In any case, there are two types of surveys, both of which can be effectively carried out in the Odoo platform's Survey module. In addition, the separate survey module is accessible, which has direct connections with other Odoo ERP modules due to the scalability of the operations. Furthermore, you will be able to define surveys on the corporate website with the help of the website module.

The Survey module can be installed through the Odoo platform's application module, and once installed, it will be available in the platform's home dashboard. Upon joining the platform, you will see the home window of the Survey module, which will show all of the ongoing surveys, as well as those that have been launched and closed. Additionally, the steps defined here can be modified, omitted, or added.


To create a new survey, click the Create option in the above box, which will display the survey creation form as seen in the image below. You can provide a Survey Title and upload a photo here to make the survey stand out on the company website.

 

Under the options tab in the survey creation form, you may provide the setup details for the survey. The Question setup parameters such as the Layout can be defined as one of the default options among One page with all questions, One page one section, and One page per question. Furthermore, the Progression Mode might be Percentage or Number. You may also enable the Survey Time Limit settings and specify a time limit. The choice for selection can be set to All questions or Randomized per part.

Secondly, the Scoring features, such as how the scoring should be described, should be depicted as No Scoring, Scoring with answers at the end, or Scoring without answers at the end. Furthermore, the Candidates Access Mode and the Login Required option can be enabled or disabled as needed. Finally, configure the Live Session options by activating or disabling the Reward rapid replies and entering the Session Code.

 

To add questions to the survey, go to the Questions tab and pick the Add a question option. The following box will appear. Initially, the question can be provided, and the Question Type can be selected from the list of available default question kinds. You may also describe the question in the Description tab.

 

The responses can be included according to the question type; for example, if the question is a multiple-choice only one response question, all of the answers that the customer can select should be detailed under the Answers tab by selecting the Add a line option.


However, as shown in the screenshot below, there are several setting choices available in the Question creations menu under the Options tab. The Constraint option, such as the Mandatory Answer, can be enabled and disabled from this page. Furthermore, the Display option Number of columns, as well as the Images on answer option, which can be activated or disabled, can be described.

 

You can enable the Show Comments Field option in the Allow Comments section to allow the candidate to comment on the questions. The Conditional Display option can be turned on or off. Furthermore, if the session has a time limit, the Question Time Limit option can be activated, and the time limit can be stated.
